Welcome to My Inheritance,  my art website.  Whether you stumbled on my site or are here by intention, I'm glad you found it and invite you to look around.  You'll find my art story under the bio tab.  

My canvas art is a combination of impressionistic scenes and fluid art, both of which I pour into layers of color and light.  In all of my pieces,  I look for what the eye sees beyond the obvious.  I usually find faces in most if not all of my fluid art, and that is what I look for in the dried pieces.  I began my art journey with a lot of abstract finger painting while exploring paints and color blends.  From an art educational perspective, I did it all backwards, but my journey has resulted in some very beautiful pieces of art.  There are endless color blends and methods of application that never cease to fuel my creative imagination.   
Another fluid art form I've invested many years into is painting large silk worship banners.  There are many techniques I've discovered in this process, and each banner is one of a kind. 
 Finally, my other portion of family inheritance was making jewelry.  This goes way back beyond my immediate family.  It wasn't something I wanted to pursue, but slipped into it in a mysterious way that was meant to be.  I have chosen to create only bracelets now, because it is visible to the wearer as a reminder that they are also one of a kind, made in God's image.  They are well made and will last a long time with proper care.
